I can't get this to perform well

I've tried about 6 different burn tests, and no matter what I do, the wick just eats through a 7 inch taper candle in less than 2 hours. I let the candles cure for 2 weeks each time, and I've tried smaller wicks, adding stearin, nothing works. I'm quite sad, since I didn't want to use paraffin, but I guess I'll have to, since I just can't get this wax to perform at all as pillar wax.
