Budget motors, only I hadnt tried.
Bought these because it was the only 13.99 budget motor I hadnt tried yet. So, I am very impressed with the performance of these motors. Pros are the lighter weight, and a 2306.5 stator, and single windings. The cons are the threads are not threaded down very far on the prop shaft, causing you to use the supplied washer with props that have a 6mm hub, like the ethix S series props. Magnets dont seem to be captured in anyway, possible slipping in the future? We will have to see. Beed to service? Bell screws are super locked in. I would have to say they are good for what they are. I personally have 2 sets of velox v2 2306 1950kv, which I think are the best for this price. The construction and serviceability is great. The bell screw is a big 2mm head, ive never had a issue removing any bell screw on the velox. The hyperlite, and eco2 are made of cheap cheap material, and 1.5mm. Use a MIP driver, and heat the screw up with a soldering iron till the shaft is really warm. Hopefully it comes loose, they use a huge amount of it seams like permanent locktight. Id go velox, hyperlite motor, and lastly is the emax eco 2 2306 1900kv. Something is lacking in this Motor, and just doesnt perform like the velox, or the hyperlite. At this price point, you cant go wrong with any of them really, they do what they are designed to do. For what it's worth, the eco2 was a 11.99$ motor for the first month of say, then went to 13.99 most likely to match, plus supply. The velox v2, and the hyperlite have stayed at 13.99$ the whole time.
