I was looking for this exact size bento box for my 5 year old and 2 year old. They previously used a plastic one the same size but I just could not pack their food plastic any longer. I searched far and wide to find the perfect one- this is it! It holds more than enough food for their daily lunch. It's lightweight which is important for their little arms, and the bonus dipper/snack container is great. We LOVE them- bought 4 immediately and am so glad we did.
