The scent is strong! and pencil writes well

The scent is much stronger and longer-lasting than I had expected--instead of being sprayed or applied to the pencil it is the wood that naturally has the smell. Left the pencils on my desk and after I came home hours later was pleasantly greeted by the smell of jasmine upon entering my room.
