A Good Basic Oil Cleanser
I have tried many oil cleansers and this is my ultimate favorite! I have very oily acne prone skin so doubling cleansing is a must to break down excess oil and water resistant sunscreen. This is a VERY thick cleansing oil and I was surprised by how thick is was upon initial touch. I was under the impression that it was going to be a thin, runny, lightweight texture similar to many Korean oil cleansers but it's not. Just because it's thick doesn't mean it won't rinse off or it will leave film of residue on the skin, in fact I find that it rinses off better than the more lightweight oils out there. I can even use this oil cleanser around my eyes and it doesn't sting, irritate, or leave any foggy and stringy residues in my eyes. Again, despite its thick texture, the oil rinses off well with no residue especially if you follow up with a second cleanse. It's not the best for removing waterproof or long wearing eye makeup though. I find that I have to really scrub at my lids to thoroughly remove eye makeup but that happens to all cleansing oils and balms that I have tried (Korean, Japanese, and American brands). It does remove base makeup very well and you can see the product breaking down on your face once you begin massaging. If you're looking for an oil cleanser that doesn't contain fragrance or hyaluronic acid (like me) then give this product a try. It's a very basic product that removes impurities well, except if you're wearing waterproof eye makeup, and it's relatively affordable for a 200ml bottle. Also, this product lasts a very long time because I've been using this nightly (2 pumps for face and neck) since March and it's August now and I'm barely reaching the bottom. Since using this oil cleanser I have not experienced irritation/redness or new acne/bumps. I just received my second bottle a few weeks ago and will continue to repurchase!
