Replacement Meindl laces- disappointing

I find the laces wear out before the Meindl walking shoes so I bought a spre pair of Meindl laces with a new pair of shoes. I've not used them yet, but they are not the same laces as sold with new walking shoes. These are much thinner and therefore not as tough or hard-wearing as the originals. Somewhat disappointing to think I was buying identical, original Meindl laces to find they are definitely not the same.

Excellent peformance

I have found that these laces show no signs of wear after one year. They are easy to manipulate even in the cold and they have never worked loose, unlike many previous styles of lace. Excellent, functional laces ; much to be recommended !
