Damaged part

I ordered a part for my car and it came with a clip missing and a crack on, i also paid for next day delivery and it came after bank holiday which is understandable but I was told a date it would arrive and was still late being delivered I emailed the company and asked for a refund for the damaged part and instead the company sent me a new part, obviously I’d sorted it myself after not wanting to reorder or have a replacement of a company who sent me a damaged part it was damaged prior to packaging as when it arrive the missing clip wasn’t in the bubble wrap so it can’t of been damaged while being delivered, they then emailed me saying I had to sort the return myself and then I’d have a refund
