Porlock Bay Oysters: A New Gold Standard

Having long considered Lindisfarne oysters to be the benchmark, we were genuinely surprised by just how exceptional the Porlock Bay Oysters were. These oysters were noticeably sweeter, more succulent, and incredibly fresh, with a beautifully clean taste of the sea. The texture was perfect, plump and meaty without being overpowering, delivering a richness that lingered pleasantly on the palate. It's rare to find an oyster that surpasses a long standing favourite, but Porlock Bay has managed exactly that. The quality was outstanding from start to finish and they have firmly taken the top spot in our household. If you're an oyster lover, these are an absolute must try. We will certainly be ordering again.

Collected a box of oysters one morning and shucked them on the beach at Porlock with a bottle of Champagne. Perfectly sweet and creamy oysters.
