The other reviewers were right--these are aome sharp lenses. Easily on par with the best Oakley, Leupold, Gatorz, and Native sunglasses I've used in the past. Every color seems to pop. Despite being polarized, you can even use your phone with them, in both portrait and landscape mode. These are cat 2 to 3, and honestly I thought they were 3 to 3, which I would've preferred, but they seemed just right for Wisconsin spring sun. Now, how would these handle in Texas or Arizona or other sunny parts of the world? They may not cut down the VLT that my Gatorz or Natives did, but I think they would still be a solid choice. They are, after all, a fashion brand, but they strike a really good balance between looking good and peotecting your eyes effectively. Besides, I would probably get a separate pair for sports anyway. But for just regular walking around? These are great. And Sunglass Safari ran them down from Canada in four days. Very happy.
