Sideslip Utility Knife

Excellent light-duty utility knife, perfect for opening and breaking down boxes. The materials and construction are super premium, it feels good in the hand, and it should last basically forever. This is the second one I’ve bought because I thought I lost my first one. Found it, and now I have two!

Best convenient utility knife on earth. Been waiting to buy this for 5 or so years and finally bought. Just what I expected. You won’t be disappointed.

Extremely satisfying tool. Absolutely love the left handed option in order to continue having a primary knife on the right side while having this thoughtfully designed blade as well. Light weight and thin design is perfect. Hopefully the bump in the slot helps keep a sharper edge. The last two days it has seen use replacing old electrical residential outlets. Not only is it on a knotted cord linked to a belt loop, it is also clipped into a pocket to keep it out of the dirt when getting down to the ground; really works. Note that it is possible for a lanyard to push the blade out some if the Sideslip gets catty wampus backwards and is pulled backwards (very rare). Plus the smoothness of the side of the replaceable utility blade and smoothness of the hardened clip working surface means that clip retention is not as robust as, say a deep textured grip on a clip-equipped Spyderco knife. This is in no way a complaint about the excellent design, but a recognition of existing, inevitable design parameters.
