Good Coverage, but Lacks Clarity and Personalization
I purchased two Mulberry Protection plans for my commercial grinders. While the cost felt a bit high, I saw it as a worthwhile investment to avoid unexpected repair expenses. So far, I haven’t had to use the coverage, but my initial experience left a few things to be desired. For instance, after buying two plans, there was no clear way to tell which plan belonged to which grinder without manually matching the policy numbers with the product serial numbers. It felt like I was just storing the plans without any personalized connection to the products. The process also felt a bit disconnected. The seller of the grinders didn’t provide any updates or communication about the protection plans—it all came directly from Mulberry. This made me question whether everything was set up correctly and left me feeling unsure about the process. I did contact customer service and was informed that the coverage would automatically start after the grinder’s 1-year manufacturer warranty ends. While that’s good to know, it would be better if this was clearly communicated upfront, so customers didn’t have to chase down the details. One additional note: the manufacturer’s warranty starts from the purchase date rather than the delivery date, which was frustrating in my case as my product was delayed by a month. While this is unrelated to Mulberry, it’s something to keep in mind if you’re buying similar coverage. Overall, the protection plan offers peace of mind, but the lack of clarity and personal touch in the process could be improved.
