I don't know how to read music I only know how to play songs that I know. I am 78 yrs. old and I think this book might be able to help me play other songs

Judy has arranged the music in a way that helps the student progress as a musician and learn some important life lessons, including- time management, how to approach and solve problems. It’s true, the mountain dulcimer is one of the easiest musical instruments to learn, especially if you want to be able to play simple songs quickly. If you want to be able to play more advanced music, it will take hard work and commitment. After you have finished this book, you will have built the foundation that will need if you want to take the next step.

Super helpful book

I'm a beginner taking lessons. Judy's book answers all the questions I have between classes, provides exercises, and even warm encouragement. This book is a must have for those new to mountain dulcimer. I'm grateful to Judy!
