Great jeans, fit differently than the others I've bought

I bought several pairs of L'Agence jeans this year in the winter. Coated, wide leg and traditional boot/flare. The Kendra fits a little different. It's shorter in the stride and much tighter fit through the hips and thighs. Fabric is soft and offers a little flex, and I loved the raw hem. Unfortunately, I had to exchange for a different style. For all my other L'A jeans, I had to have them taken up in the waist, and taper to the hips. The Kendra was already too tight and not flattering.
