This is an extremely detailed explanation of a key Ude Garami (Kimura) concept for particularly side control. Like all good techniques it not only details the actual finish but also the minute details important when dealing with ‘bruisers’ eg the insertion of the fingers inside the opponent’s closed fist on the belt and subsequent grips ie thumb out. Sad for me as an old style Kosen Judo guy to see this excellent presentation when compared with some of the Judo presentations on the same topic. Could be an adjunct to Side Control. I particularly relate to the careful positioning and then the explosive action (and what to do if that doesn’t work!!). Simply first class! :grinning::grinning:
