Solderless Telecaster wiring harness

Great but...

This solved my wiring problems for my frankenstein HS tele. Was fiddly as heck to put the wires in place - no instructions - push tiny tab down insert wire then let go - took a few attempts. Also, I had to bend back the jack socket board connector to make it fit the control plate hole and they'd been wired the wrong way round so swap the plug round. Also, if you have shielded the control hole you may want to scrape back the shielding so the three way switch doesn't touch it. Apart from that, no complaints. It might sound like I'm not that impressed, but I am. This item solved my problem. Worth the money.

No ground wire

The kit has what seem to be good quality components, but there is no ground wire and nowhere to solder one. I'm also getting a crackle when I turn the tone pot. I may have to replace with an old fender control panel.
