Love the Blanket Weight

This blanket was a very thoughtful gift to me, that introduced me to Calamity. I knew she thought a lot of me, to give it up for herself, and I absolutely fell in love with the festive fun design and feel, and most of all, the quality and weight and value. I was so impressed that I purchased five more, and I'm going to give one to my friend that gave me one, and I know she will be pleasantly surprised. The others will be gifts. The navy is perfect as it's dark and doesn't show spills as much, and the weight just feels good for a cover up. And now I love Calamity and their unique offering.

Better than Anticipated!

I purchased this throw because I already had the Time Traveling Bloopers throw and absolutely love it. In the pictures, it looks so dark blue it's almost black. I wasn't a huge fan of that, but purchased this anyway. Well, when I received it I was so pleasantly surprised! It's a dark blue, but not nearly as dark as in pictures. The cream of the blanket is beautiful, and the pattern is absolutely great! It's hefty enough to feel great on the lap but not too heavy. I'd love to see Calamity Ware create another a third throw - I'd be first in line to purchase it!

Even better than expected

I've had my eye on these for a long time. When I heard about the Kicked Out of the Warehouse Sale, I was very sorry to think that this charming company had been rudely evicted! I generously contributed to the cause of inventory reduction by buying THREE of these throws, because my grown children will definitely need them, too. They are as much fun to look at as expected, but the quality is impressive. Smooth and soft, yet thick and cushy, hefty but not heavy, neatly edged, beautifully woven, bigger than just a "throw." And they don't even boast about the fact that it's reversible - you can enjoy your critters equally in blue on white, or white on blue. How on earth do they do that double weave thing?! I can't report on my kids' reaction since they won't get theirs until Christmas, but I'm looking forward to seeing these in their houses.
