Luka 15 inch Laptop Backpack

I chose the backpack as I am trying to downsize from using my Luka duffel for my underseat bag when I travel. I have only used my Luka duffel and it has worked perfectly, but I do tend to be an overpacker so I thought I would try the backpack for my next trip. I have all the sizes of the Luka duffel. I have multiple belt bags, as well as the Luka expandable laptop tote and the mini tote. I love each and every one of my purchases from the Luka line. Although I haven't used the backpack just yet, I have already done trial runs of packing it as I want to make certain it will work. I don't plan on bringng a laptop so I am unable to comment on how this affects packing, but so far, I have been able to fill it with my travel size toiletries, my electronics, underwear, socks, t-shirt and pajamas in the event my checked bag is lost. I haven't even finished packing it yet. I usually throw an extra pair of sneakers in my duffel, but I'm thinking it might make this backpack too crowded. I'm traditionally not a backpack person so this is a totally new experience for me. My thinking is, if I end up "overpacking" again, I might use the backpack for my "carry-on" and my Luka mini duffel for my underseat bag. I did make this purchase with the intent of the backpack becoming my underseat bag as I know it will fit more easily than my Luka duffel. Like I said, I am an overpacker, so with the duffel completely stuffed, it is a bit of a squeeze to go under the seat. I've only flown on United and Lufthansa and I'm usually in Economy. I like the fabric and construction of the backpack. The material is super easy to clean and I have all my duffels and totes are in rose quartz, so although I have chosen a light color, all my bags still look clean as I make certain to wipe them down when I arrive at my destination and when I return home. I've watched countless reviews for all types of gear but I am really pleased with all my Calpak purchases. I am most happy that I don't have all these outside straps that hang and need adjusting and such. I like the simple clean look and then nothing gets "caught" on anything. Sometimes less is more!

A lot roomier than expected. Used it for travel and was amazed at everything I could get in without putting a laptop inside.

Really love it!! LOVE the purple color. Love the wipeable exterior material (wish the interior was the same wipeable type) Especially love the interior pockets in the main compartments. Some possible upgrades to suggest: - Have another zipper pocket at the top near the top handle - Wish it was overall a tad larger - Wish the shoe compartment wasn't there and there was another water bottle pocket. - Wish the size pocket was much larger (I struggle to put a normal sized 20z plastic water bottle in the pocket) I would consider buying the 17in version of this backpack but there's a very limited color range compared to this 15in backpack.
