Comfy Half Cotton slip

It is well made with French seams and a bias cut. Lovely soft cotton. I am usually a size 12 but I sized up 2 sizes to get the length and a loose fit. This size is a bit loose on me, so I should have only gone up one size. But I am can sew so it’s an easy fix.

I have a few cotton full slips but the other day, my outfit would have been better suited to a half slip. Yes, that age that always wore a petticoat and I feel uncomfy without one on. Saw this when ordering my denim skirt, and went Yes. Question below is on design - my preference would be for a half circle cotton half slip (yes I used to make my own).
