I love the pillow very much though I haven't used the newly purchased one yet. I had two already and they are perfect, each of them are with me for around 10 years.

This is my second one and no other “low profile” pillows are low enough but this is the best.

loses padding by middle of night

when I start my sleep the pillow is low and firm with only a small amount of padding, but half way through each night I wake up because it has "solidified" to feel to be without any padding at all and instead feels like a rolled up blanket inside the pillow case. If that suits you then great, but I prefer a pillow that stays the same the whole night through, so for me, the pillow is only 1 star. Planet Linen as a company however, rate 5 star for price and delivery.
