EZ-FLASH Omega Definitive Edition B Micro-SD Card Adapter

I'm really enjoying the EZ Flash so far

I've had my eye on an EZ flash for the GBA for a few years now, but I decided to go down the rabbit hole of cheap handheld emulators instead. They are very different experiences so It's hard for me to not compare them to the EZ flash. At the time I just wanted a handheld to play games I was nostalgic for. A GBA and flashcart was at least a few hundred dollars depending on what I got, whereas handheld emulators could and can still be found for less than one official GBA cart. In use the EZ flash is great. It took a little to set up, and I still haven't managed to get cheats to work at all. But I have gotten to a point where I'm comfortable enough with the cart, I've started a few dozen games that have all ran perfect and am 7 hours into one game right now with no issues. The firmware available for the EZ flash seems a few years old (the YouTube tutorials I followed were all a few years old.) It functions well, but it is very basic compared to the average handheld emulator. But a handheld emulator can never be a Gameboy. And this has me playing games on an actual Gameboy for the first time in a long time, and I can't really compare that feeling. This flashcart has a few downsides, but as an avid handheld gamer it is bringing me a type of joy I haven't felt in a long time. Last thing I will say is as a collector I felt conflicted getting a device like this. I felt if I wanted to play on a Gameboy I would want the real experience, not emulation. But as someone who has almost no carts this gives me something to play as I grow my collection. And thinking forward if one day I amass a large valuable collection then I can carry it all around on one cart. I was worried about the price, but I don't see and diminishing returns. A long winded way to say I am happy with my purchase, I'm happy it's not my only way to play games but very happy to have it in my collection. Thanks guys!
