Zamberlan Baltoro Lite GTX RR

So far, so good.

Haven’t had these long enough to really know how these boots will work, but so far I like them a lot. They’re what I’ve been looking for- light, tough, relatively high at the ankle. Docking a star because of the orange on them , which means I won’t use them for turkey. Seriously…. Who wants blaze on their boots?!?

Third pair of Zambos. The Baltoros started out a bit iffy with initial try on and lacing adjustment. 3 stars at that point but added an orange Superfeet insole. Gained half a star, but still a purchaser shouldn’t have to spend another $50-60 (i.e. 15-20%- you tip your waiter?) on an insole just to have a boot be exponentially better. Maybe if these high price brands actually included custom insoles and not just basic molded felt? Or provided a discount code to purchase them in conjunction? Oh the possibilities….

First pair

Just got my first pair of zamberlans and haven’t got a lot of miles on them yet 3 days spring bear hunting so far very happy. Lightweight comfy and fit the shape of my feet very well only reason it’s not 5 stars is I haven’t had them long enough to see how they hold up.
