Women Stencils

I was so taken my the sumptuously woven tapestry of Medieval African Mythos in Marlon James’ fantasy novel “ Moon Witch, Spider King”, I decided to do an African botanical soap series inspired by it and when I saw Bee’s intrinsically rhythmic and festive celebration of African women stencil series, my project’s respective soap formulations and design schemes instantly gelled! Creative inspiration derived from the perfect amalgam of stellar literary and graphic design artistry!

Big Audrey Hepburn fan! This minimalist, “block-cut” , silhouette style image featuring a snapshot of her character in “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” captured mid-twirl, lost in the love-bitten revelry of her early morning post-date homebound sashay. One in another masterfully imagined and executed female archetypal-themed stencil series!
