Black Fern – Shaving Soap

A nice fougere scent that's not overpowering. Lathers easily, provides a great slickness during and after the shave. I'm not one who can identify underlying scents, but I do like it.

Black fern shaving soap

I just got the Black Fern shaving soap. This is a very full scent, I guess kind of floral. I think it almost has a bit of sweetness to it, almost a heavy sweetness. Taking a smell seems to fill my empty stomach. I like it, but I think I was expecting something a bit more crisp and clear, or light. Makes amazing lather. Also has an interesting black colour. Out of personal preference I would give the scent four stars but I think the overall product deserves five stars.
