Rose color
I received my rose color but I would say it looks more like magenta color. Picture on site doesn’t reflect true color of the dye at all. I did two pictures. One is outside on a bright sun and another is inside my home. I didn’t keep an egg for a long time (1-1,5 minutes).

Gorgeous hues
Overall, these batik colors were brilliant and dramatic. For variety, I put a few drops of olive oil in the second round of egg dying for a very special marbling effect. Also, pearlized powder that I rubbed on these dyed eggs was a real show stopper! The blue hurs were the highlight of the collection.
The only negative was that these colors could not be used on hard boiled Easter eggs! That warning was stated on the batik packet in microscopic writing. I had already hard boiled 48 eggs, and wasn’t about waste the outer shells. Everyone loved the egg effects but were puzzled as to why tgey couldn’t eat them.
Please be very specific about types of egg shells that can be dyed! It wasn’t really emphasized in Martha Stewart’s magazine for Easter crafts.

Beautiful soft pink!
I was a little worried at first that this was going to barely be a color, based off how light in color the dye was when I made it. However to my happy surprise, after trying a white egg, it leaves a beautiful soft rose pink on the shell. Very pretty, and I love it. Will definitely buy again next year.
