Defective battery

We spent nearly $1,000 last year with your company on a four wheeler for my grandson. After having it for only a little over 1 year and my grandson only riding it 1 time, the battery will not take a charge. When I called your company I was informed there was nothing you could or would do for me except sell me a new $190 battery. To say I am extremely disappointed with your company and your product, would be a gross understatement.
