Maxi Classic Personal Amplifier

Easy-to-use and efficient

When we are looking for a personal amplifier for our family members, we may want to consider some other health problems they may have, such as arthritis. In the latter case, they will definitely appreciate large controls of Bellman Personal Amplifiers. I was choosing between Maxi Classic, Maxi Pro and Mino and among these 3 models Maxi Classic has the easiest-to-use design, and it uses 2 AA batteries. These were top priorities for me, but someone else may prefer some other properties like rechargeable batteries, bluetooth or dual microphones, so all 3 models are worth to look. Maxi Classic is very well built and works great.

Good sound, inconvenient dimensions

Good amplification, very clear, not much noise, simple controls, easy to use. I Have had trouble figuring out where to put it. It's too tall to fit in shirt pocket, keeps falling out even when you use the clip which is too short. Clip it to your belt and it pops out when you sit. It works and stays in your pants pocket if you clip it, but the control buttons rub against your pants and it turns off or the volume gets turned down. Am trying clipped to the neck of my t-shirt and held by the strap tight around my neck, so far O K.

A great tool for someone needing amplification

We ordered this for our family member with diminished hearing, who doesn't like wearing her hearing aids regularly. Unfortunately she suffers from confusion so the product was not a good match for her, but we tried it ourselves and it works really well.
