Fantastic budget cast iron skillet, but not perfect
Absolutely a five star product just for having a machined face for only $20 more than a basic lodge/camp chef, but there is room for improvement. -it’s about a pound heavier than a griswald in the same size (10”/#8) (still lighter than a basic camp chef/ lodge) -the factory “seasoning” is very thin— if you consider it a food safe anti-rust factory coating that doesn’t need to be removed you’ll be happy, but expect to either season it yourself or cook greasy food for a week before it’s actually nonstick. -the walls are a tad lower than other skillets, so tossing food takes a little more finesse All that said, there’s not much competition at this price point— you can either get a basic lodge/camp chef and spend 3+ hours polishing it yourself and end up with an inferior result, spend $75+ for a griswald or Wagner off eBay that doesn’t have pitting on the inside, or spend $150 for other modern cast iron pans with machined faces.

Best skillet value
The greater good skillets in my opinion are the best value in both 12 inch and 10 inch. I love the machined cooking surface. I added three additional coats of seasoning, using a combination of beeswax, grapeseed oil, sunflower seed oil and Avocado oil. This is my second 10 inch Greater Goods skillet, I love to handle that accommodates the cooking utensil. I love that I can cook eggs without them sticking.

Great value for the process it went through
I like the smoothed milled interior of the pan and the good Karma from the company.cheers
