Like many people, before making my purchases I read the reviews. 5* Totally. Never seen this before, and I was about to part with quite a bit of cash, so I was VERY cautious! I contacted the company via IM and asked if it would be possible to see the products BEFORE I purchased them. This lead to a nice trip out into the country. I was not disappointed! I had half expected the writing desk to be a cardboard box with a leather like coating, but it was anything but. Solid, well made, wood with leather. The Ice bucket was finished to the same high standard. As these two are 60th birthday presents for the better half, they had to be spot on. I chose also to have have the leather tag, which was later shipped to me, and finished to the same high standard. Given this, it was only fair that I treated myself to the leather Apron. I would like to thank the ladies at the Life of Riley for their help. I will definitely be back. PS.... I love the fact that this is also an all ladies team. Seems to add that extra touch.
