I found that I was as flogging out the bottom wound strings very quickly. I have bought a set of all fluorocarbon baritone strings to see how long they last.

Love the Worth browns on my baritone uke. Lovely resonant tone and no scratchy slides any more as all fluorocarbon (not wound). Will be sticking with this quality brand as my first choice.
