Having had professional microneedling which is costly I did a lot of research and this pen was highly recommended. I have used it twice now. There was no pinpoint bleeding, no flaking the day after and I was barely even red after using. I used 2.5 almost the entire time. Used numbing cream and glide as well. More research told me that these pens often advertise the 2.5 depth but don't actually go that far and also the quality of needles aren't as effective. I will possibly still use from time to time and see if my skin changes but overall not comparable at all to the real deal.
