Packaged really nicely. The simplified exploded assembly diagram took a bit of patience to work out, but everything only makes sense to go in one place, so if you can put a square peg in a square hole it's fine in the end. Unfortunately it doesn't work on my machine. This isn't a fault of the product as far as I can tell. But for others looking to replace and avoid the same disappointment: I have a Mega X and the vanilla extruder is geared. This is a direct drive extruder, and it appears as if my extruder motor lacks the torque to operate in this configuration. Filament feeds perfectly when there is no resistance, but the motor stalls and just rocks back and forward when it has to extrude through the hot end and nozzle. The item feels solid and is machined really nicely, but if you don't already have a direct drive extruder, then it may not work for you.
