Shipping, oh dear.
Your biscuits are heaven, as always. The latest shipment arrived with many biscuits broken in half and some even crumbled. I doubt this is because of the recipe, which is perfection! The mail service is getting more stressed by the moment, however, and I think the only solution is for you to pack them even more securely. I suspect the latest package was tossed around by tired, desperate mail workers.

My current favorite
I love all the Effie's biscuits, except for corn and ginger, which I haven't tried. Oatcake are my delicious with Teddie's peanut butter. Somehow they seem wholesome. Crunch, crunch, crunch...yum

We love sharing Effies with all our friends!
We first learned about Effies back around 2012 when Effies Oatcakes were paired with Jasper Hill Clothbound Cheddar. Have been fans ever since and we take every opportunity to bring Effies as a host gift- always enjoyed!
On occasion a box might have a cracked biscuit, but not very often. We finally decided to indulge in a 6 pack.
Noticed the foam packing peanut and the note about such. Not sure it's helping. We have opened two of those boxes so far; one brought to friends. Dismayed to find 3 broken biscuits.
The next box had an end one broken in half- one half was in place and the other half was sitting alongside half way down the stack.
Both boxes had 1 or 2 of the packing peanuts.
Is this because of how sloppy the shipping is to the consumer, vs to the retailer? Might be just that.
Wanted you to know. Still love them- although we've only tried the OatCakes! Appreciate the pairing list!
