Does Not Work As Designed

The idea is great. Now if it worked as designed, that would be better. We bought this because we experienced it at a friends home and it worked as designed. Imagine entertaining in your backyard and arms full, but no worries, the elite opens the door for you via the sensors....cool right? We thought so... But since we installed the unit it has not worked as designed and getting support to help troubleshoot the problem has been as glitchy as the Autoslide ( I will provide some slack here as they continue recovery from Milton).... However, after a couple of email exchanges/suggestions...the unit is still malfunctioning. The phone calls I have placed have yet to be returned. My friend experienced a similar problem but after spending time on the phone with Brandon, the problem was solved and the unit works as designed. I am very close to giving up on the unit and returning it for a refund (not my first choice, but hey it it doesn't work?) Lastly, most sliding doors are white, why isn't the power supply cord?

Secret tip

the rf box needs to be located directly above the door for pet tags to work best, the infrared sensors did not work for my dogs after multiple adjustments, the rf works for our dogs and it is better than a pet door through our glass door. would buy again. Instalation was easy/!

Steps Saver
