Game changer

I’ve been backcountry camping for decades. Started off as a broke 20-something hiking and wanting multipurpose bags I could travel with. I stuck in that mode for years, long after I’d graduated to canoe camping as my primary. Hiking bags got wet, were too tall to portage with effectively. Dry bags solved the wet issue but has anyone ever made a truly comfortable dry bag? Not in my experience. Knew I had some longer portages coming up and my back, hips and knees aren’t young anymore so I decided it was time to get a grip addle specific bag. Had to be Canadian too. Enter the wabakimi. This thing is built to last. The stitching is excellent. Every strap makes sense. It’s easy to get on and off and to adjust one handed as you move. Only had it a single summer so far but this is already my favourite bag I’ve purchased and it cost less than many bigger names. Highly recommend.

Great pack great customer support

I chose the Ostrom Wabakimi pack after Iots of research, as I needed the capacity to carry a large amount of gear over long portages comfortably in one go. I had a manufacturing issue on one of the buckles where the sewing machine skipped a few stitches, and Bill replaced the pack without question, which turned out to be an upgrade as the new version includes the new zipper pockets. Extremely happy with the pack, incredible customer service. I have already recommended the pack to others, you can’t go wrong. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
