Bailey Wool Felt Briar

I purchased the Baily Fedora with a 3"(?) brim online. I ordered an XL size as my hat measurement is 7 5/8 & it fits well. It arrived after only a few days, via Canada Post...as it was over a weekend. Colour of the hat & band were as advertised. The 3 main reasons I bought the hat was 1. It advertised a 3" brim (which seem difficult to find these days) 2. It was a colour for a Fall/Winter hat that I do not already own 3. It is made of wool felt, although I prefer fur felt. The 4 star rating was due to the brim measurement. The front & back of the brim measures at 2 3/4" but the sides only measure 2 1/4". I'll keep the hat, but I will only shop in-person going forward.

I like this felt hat because I could choose a light tan colour. I have a couple more of this style in navy and brown. I sometimes change the hat bands, but this is good-to-go with a narrow, dark band. I'll wear it this fall with brown jackets and stuff. The brim edge is turned and stitched, making it a very sturdy edge, rather than just a cut edge. This is a very wearable hat!

This is the third Briar I purchased. Great fit and I always get compliments on it.
