Rochelle Top / Retro Floral Smocked

I love the pattern, but the structure of the top made it fit in a less than flattering way. I would have returned it if it wasn't as cost/energy intensive. The straps arethe right size, as is the band. However, the cups are tight and rigid at the top, cutting into the bust and causing some squeezing in a way that is not flattering (I have a small bust, so this is never an issue I have). While looking closely at the model images, I can see that the issue persists.

I sized up based on reviews - I’m normally between a small and a medium, so I went large. Such a beautiful and fun top but I returned and went with the lilac color in a medium.
