The Cookwell Company marinades used to be sold at my local grocery store. Unfortunately they are carried nowhere in my State any longer, so I pay to ship them all the way to Michigan because they are that awesome. I’m particularly obsessed with the Garlic & Molasses and Bock & Brown Sugar!

My go-to roast marinade

I had a sample of a roast using this marinade when I lived in Texas. I’ve been buying it ever since. Now that I have moved to Colorado, I was ecstatic to find that I could order it online, have it shipped to me (with everything well protected during shipment), and support this Texas business. This marinade has a great slightly sweet, savory, and peppery flavor, and it couldn’t be easier— a bottle, some meat and veggies, and a little salt and pepper and you have the best crockpot roast ever. I also love their garlic and molasses marinade for pork.
