I used them for the first time today. They do a great job of wiping away dust that can accumulate around the barrel of the pen. Once used the pen looks and feels like a new one !

First–class results using Conway Stewart Flag pen polishing cloths

The Flag pen polishing cloths produced excellent results when used on my Conway Stewart fountain pens – they were a good purchase and reasonably–priced. (In fact, I have just bought a further two–packs–of–two as well another two bottles of Flag blue/black fountain pen ink).

I have a Winston. At one point it looked like the 9K gold clip was shedding some kind of lacquer surfacing. Which, apparently, doesn’t exist. Perhaps an optical illusion. I used the polishing cloth for a minute or two and bingo … the lustrous gold was back. In fact the whole pen, gold trimming and body itself was just gleaming like new in a minute or two. Great polishing cloth. I ordered a couple more packages.
