So far, only used one time. I tried shaving with this razor straight out of the sealed box. Shave was rough at first, so had to strop the razor. After stropping 25 round trips, shaved ok. I have no doubt that, with some more stropping, the next shave will be very nice. As a side note, this is not my first straight razor, I have two others (Boker and Henckels friodur). I shave with straights about twice a month, when I have free time for an old-fashioned shave. The Dovo silversteel razor is very attractive looking, and well made. I could have bought this razor elsewhere a little cheaper, but I chose to buy from shavenation to support Geofatboy. His videos are very helpful and informative. Very cool experience - incredible razor

I've watched so many of Geo's videos and decided it was time to bite the bullet. I've been wet shaving with DE razors for a while now and wanted to try something new. In 5 shaves, I've gotten close to where I was with my Merkur 34c HD. The razor is flawless and something to be proud of. A couple more months and I think I'll have this thing down. Thanks for all of the useful information and tutorials. You made shaving something to look forward to everyday.
