This latch is a refined piece of ironmongery. It was easy to fit. The catch was exactly what I was looking for because it is super slim and can be fitted to a door frame that is really just one cm from the wall. The finish is black and has a beeswax coat which is soft and a bit dirty when fitting it but I think this will soon harden up and leave it with a really nice soft lustre. It was delivered quickly. I am happy with the purchase.

I bought 2 so that the carpenter had a choice but when I received the Suffolk Latch I knew that that was the one I wanted the carpenter to use, and luckily he did and its lovely

Far better quality than the one it replaced. Excellent waxy protection that if gently rubbed with meths creates a lightly worn patina on the handle. Cracking.
