Easy access for water

Got one of these and the pouch version to try on the straps on my Southwest. Zip tied the bottom to minimise bounce. Keeps its form when you take the bottle out and with a smart water with the cap was easy to drink without having to manipulate and still lighter weight than adding a bladder and hose option. I really appreciate being able to see how much water Im taking in per hour and theres just not a quick way to see that with the hydration bladders.

Excellent for Onboard Drop Tanks

I can confirm to the curious would-be customer that these smaller diameter Porter Bottle Holders fit an MSR liquid fuel bottle perfectly. Seen in the picture are the 20oz bottles. In my opinion the shock cord is long enough to also secure the longer 30oz bottles but I don't have any to try. The smaller bottles may not fit as well because they aren't long enough. These will ride alongside to the Porter stuff pocket on the front, leaving room for snowshoes or skis on the side straps. Sure, the bottles could ride in the stuff pocket, but I prefer to keep things I need ready access to there. Fuel bottles need to be outside the pack, but they don't need to take up ready-access space.

Purpose built; lightweight; functional

As expected, this a solid piece of kit. It functions well, is lightweight, and easy to use. I would buy another if I had the need.
