Finding a soffit mounted dryer vent cover

If you need a dryer vent cover that's located horizontally in your soffit...good luck. We did. No screen which is what you want, but a good flapper. We're building a coastal house, so nothing that will rust or fall apart. Easy to find plastic, not so much metal. What we received...several days late for some reason...was a simple, light weight, but fully functional dryer vent...with the flapper hanging in the correct direction. Not easy to find in stainless steel or any metal for that matter It came in a box I could hide a small child in...with a trash bag worth of "peanuts". It was like it was a crystal vase or something. But this simple, hand made stainless vent cover, which weighs nothing, with a label showing the person who built it, and other info. It came in a box 5 times the size of the vent cover. For what we paid...WAY over priced. But the seller made $$. The distributor made $$. And hopefully the creator made $$. Which is why we paid $$.
