Deceptively amazing

This was my very first “real-real” bow tie, that I had to tie myself. After stumbling through what I thought was two pieces of a tie, I figured out the adjustable neck sizing, and thought that it was a clever way of adjusting the neck size for something so small without excessive excess material. After practicing the knot, I now feel super confident after about 6-7 successful attempts. Now that I know what I’m doing, I think this experience has pried open my perception of ties. No more clip-ons.
