Sherlock Holmes Murder Mystery Host Your Own Game Kit

Such fun solving this dastardly crime! We all got into character, dressed up and put on the appropriate voices. Great silliness ensued, helped with party food and drinks. Our only criticism was that a lot of printing was involved. Apart from that, it was brilliant!

The game is wonderful, and the instructions for each participant are very detailed. The only two parts that didn't work well for us were: 1. Too few female roles were included. We tried to give two girls male characters, but they found it very hard to get into their roles. 2. Even with the "guilty" protocol, there was nothing that would have made it possible to discern the killer. In our case, it was Madam Black, but other players reported the same: for several killers, there is no question/statement that allows the others to unmask them. The game remains a lottery - fun, but not a whodunit as we had hoped for.

It was so fun- though we didn't dress up all the way, we still had an incredible time. Committed, funny friends and a good script made for a wonderful night (photo of victim and detective who got a little t o o into it?)
