I heard Terence on the sampler and jumped in on my first YR purchase - he blew me away and led me to ALL of the fine Yurt Rock musicians = a very original drummer with the Ultra Groove , a great place to start .

Super flexible loops for odd times and messed up funk

These loops are wonderful, all displaced beats and stuff. Still going thru the sounds (and building kits) but the loops are super usable right out of the box, and are recorded better than the Eric Harland loops I purchased from the old site.

What a swamp it is

Love them funk grooves which are very tight and remind me of the great Dr John era. The drums sound great and clear. Various styles and BPMs so a producer can work and find layback grooves as well as uptempo ones I recommend this package for all you New Orleans funk lovers that like to blend that swamp grooves into their mix
