Meet Mujina hairs

When i discovered the Mujina, a badger or type of raccoon dog historically, is also a trickster figure, an animal who can take different forms and characteristics and baffle humans. Even today confused with the tanuki, living distantly in the wilds and timid, they are far from the deceptive creatures who appears as ghost in legends and folklore. Since I personally try to buy a brush of every type of animal, this was a must! I was also impressed by the company’s high ethical standards regarding Kyureido employee wellbeing and the fact the craftspeople never relinquished proper calligraphic pen creating and continue to win awards, such as on awarded by the Ministry in 2011. My eyebrows have always been hopeless and now I have the chance to work with—-for the first time—-high quality brushes intended to help me accentuate the positive. I have been using this brush along with a small assortment of eyebrow brushes to compare and learn. This is vary basic, and gives me direct access to my eyebrows to begin seeing what the work of the day thill be. With a hooded eye, since forever, a good eyebrow bruush is essential and I am still looking for a product whose colour and texture work best for me. If I am touching up, this is the go-to brush, as I’ve already combed and shaped the uneven hairs, and cleaned up the tiny invisible ones that keep growing below eyebrow. Still learning, and always entertained by the shape-shifting the ghostly mythical mijuna had in the Japanese zeitgeist, and aiming for the elegance that this brand’s series evokes in its name.
