Simply a great razor. No complaints. Feels very good due to it's sharp deep knurling on the handle and the saves I get with several blades I have used in it have all be excellent. That's not to say it would be great with a poor blade. But I have 55 years of wet shaving and I don't buy poor blades often. I do test blades from time to time to find good blades I had not used in the past, but when I buy for my own use I buy then 100 at a time so those I have in my cabinet are all good ones. This razor has no "weak attributes" at all. 5 stars. Very good razor and very good price point

Nearly Perfect

This razor is a beauty. Heavy handle and light head.. Perfect chrome finish. Tried a Derby blade first thing. Derby might be a great blade for someone with a light beard, but I only get 3 shaves from a Feather. Your 246 is perfect for aggressiveness, and a Derby does not do it justice. Yes, open comb does feel different. Sits edge of blade a gnat's whisker above the skin. If blade had been sharper, would have been perfect shave. Used Tabac for 3 passes. Works well with this design for a slick surface and just a little lather left behind after the pass. Nice razor, nice lather, and some Clubman aftershave. Was worth the wait. I've got about a dozen other blades to try yet. Bound to be perfection lurking in the future. Thanks
