Beautiful but tricky sizing

This is a beautiful ring! I am a size 7 on my pointer and middle finger on my non-dominant hand and a slightly smaller 7 on my ring finger on my dominant hand. I wanted to wear this on my pointer finger on my dominant hand. I purchased both a 7 and an 8 since in my experience chunkier rings generally run smaller. My hope was that the size 8 would run a little smaller so it would fit on that pointer finger. On me, both the 7 and the 8 ran true to size, which meant that neither the 7 nor the 8 would fit on the finger I wanted to wear it on. I still really love the ring, and I kept the 7 (the 8 is too big for any finger on me including my thumbs).
