Trumpet Phone Lyre - TPT100

Great grip

I bought this phone lyre for my son. He is in his first year of college marching band, and they all use a phone lyre. In high school, he always memorized the music, so they had no need to have a lyre. Now, in college, they provide instruments and lyres to those in the band. The lyre provided to my son happened to be for another instrument, rather than a trumpet, but the store room had no additional options for him. After struggling through a couple of shows, and finding he had little time for memorization with all of the class work, he asked me to look into this lyre. Not being a musician myself, I rely upon reviews and recommendations. I am happy that the Gripophone cam recommended with great reviews. He has now also joined pep band and has need for the lyre for every football, volleyball, and basketball game he plays at, so this lyre is a life saver for him.

I like that the phone is held to the horn by BOTH the bell and the leadpipe. This is a much more stable relationship to hold a lyre on a trumpet than I have seen in the past. Hurry and touché to the company to protect my horn and equipment. The Penn State Alumni Blue Band trumpets thank you~!!!!
