Letter from down South

My son is part of a worship team in Riverside CA and he was telling me about these pickups that worship guitarist are upgrading their guitars to. I had just purchased a Jazzmaster and decided to upgrade the pickups to the Lambertones. So I ordered a loaded pick guard with Ristretto pickups. It was an easy installation and I immediately fell in love with the clarity and spark that these pickups bring. I also visited the shop in Redlands CA when I visited my son over the summer and Kurt welcomed us with open arms and showed us how the pickups are built. Plus, I was able to make changes on the fly at no additional costs. Overall, we were treated great! Now I plan to upgrade my 20 year old LP Double Cutaway next. Thank you for the great experience! Ristretto p90 fully loaded jazzmaster kit

Man, what a good purchase. I got the fully loaded pickguard with a set of ristretto pickups so basically all of the wiring and electronics on my jazzmaster are from Lambertones. The tone is phenomenal. This is my new favorite single coil tone, full stop. They don't sound like any p90s I've ever heard before. I was on the fence between a set of cremas and these ristrettos, and after a lot of research and replaying videos over and over, I ordered the ristrettos and I couldn't be happier. I'm not an expert so I won't try to articulate the tone with words, aside from saying that Ristretto is an apt name - I feel like the range of tone is from a cup of black citrusy Colombian joe to a very slightly sweetened latte with hokkaido milk - the edge is really nice and the mellow is basically a dream sequence. The customer service is also amazing. I ordered these as a rush from Asia and they were delivered a few days after the order was placed. Got some goodies too with the order. I never used Stringjoy strings before, and they sent me a set as a gift, and now there's a case of them in the corner. These are some good people that make a quality product and have a refined taste. Highly recommend, and something tells me that sooner or later I'll probably end up picking up a set of their humbuckers as well.

Killer sound!

I have never been into bright sounding pickups. But I really needed something to help my tone cut through the mix better. The grinder is freaking amazing! By far the best sound I have ever had! I am pumped to load another set on a different guitar
